Our Story

RPM Racing Engines was established in 2001 by Roger Pitchford who's background in motor racing goes back to the 1970s starting in Mini Stock, then on into Formula Ford, Formula Renault and Formula 3000.

RPM was set up to provide a revolutionary approach to engine preparation. Born out of frustration with the quality of service offered by existing engine preparers, a new company was set up, to build engines for racing enthusiasts, by engine enthusiasts.

Paul Wilkins then joined RPM in 2003 bringing with him his 10 years of karting and Honda engine experience. As a team RPM have gone from strength to strength dominating Honda racing in both endurance and sprint formats.

We offer a full range of engine services, from dyno checking to complete rebuilds. We are happy to work on your existing engines, or if you prefer, we can provide fully race prepared engines to your own specification. We also have a sealing agency for the Briggs and Stratton World Formula engine.

Don’t just take our word for it, take a look at our results, talk to our customers and judge for yourself.
